With brilliant blues and warm orange hues inspired by Italy, this hand knotted wool vintage Persian Heriz rug beautifully embodies an Italian Rustic style. The abrashed orange hued field features two large-scale medallions composed of palmettes, serrated leaves, stylized florals, and small rosettes. A floral and botanical design cover the field adding immense visual interest and graphic appeal. It is enclosed with an angular palmette and serrated leaf border flanked with an inner and outer floral meander guard border. Natural abrash gradations authenticate this gorgeous Persian carpet runner and create an inimitable warmth and nostalgic charm.
