Vintage Moroccan rug from Esmaili Rugs Collection: This vintage Azilal rug was handmade by Berber women in the Atlas Mountain region of Morocco. It is a mid century piece using bright colors of red, blue, yellow and orange with hints of grey and black on a beige ivory field. Hand knotted from durable wool pile and displaying a repetitive protection diamond pattern down the center and checkered symbols with eight human figures make this a very unique rug.
