52310 Colorful Vintage TurkishOushak Rug, 06'06 x 14'09.

Antique-washed Turkish Oushak carpet runners represent a distinct variation of traditional rugs hailing from the Oushak region in western Turkey. These runners undergo a unique washing process designed to evoke an antique or vintage appearance, softening the colors and imbuing them with a weathered charm reminiscent of aged rugs. The objective of this specialized treatment is to mimic the natural fading and patina that develops over time, infusing the rug with a sense of history and character akin to authentic antique pieces. Typically, antique-washed Oushak carpet runners showcase muted, earthy tones and subtle color variations, further enhancing their vintage allure. By marrying the enduring craftsmanship of traditional Turkish rug-making with the nostalgic allure of antique aesthetics, these runners have become highly coveted options for both classic and contemporary interior settings.
